Panoramic Photos with Fedora 11

I wanted to try to put together a panoromic photo on Fedora today, I tried out a couple of different plugins for Gimp, but I wasn't able to get the results I wanted.

Then I found out about hugin, which is already packaged for Fedora.

yum install hugin

The 'auto-stitch' feature comes disabled with Fedora due to some software patents issues, but setting up the control points manually for the stitching didn't take more than 5 minutes by hand.


Update: If you notice the panoramic photo has a dark spot at the left upper corner, I've fixed that problem at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/afsilva/3887846405/
