Grab binary RPM (or YUM repo) for Flash at: http://www.adobe.com
Grab binary RPM for Skype at: http://www.skype.com
The binaries above will be 32-bit version, so you will need some .i686 rpms to meet some dependencies on Fedora. The following takes care of them:
yum install nspluginwrapper.{i686,x86_64} pulseaudio-libs.i686 alsa-plugins-pulseaudio.i686 libcurl.i686 libXScrnSaver.i686 libXv.i686 qt-4.i686 qt-x11.i686
[Update]
There's a 64-bit flash out there that makes nspluginwrapper unnecessary. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be working correctly on Fedora 12 beta yet. Steps:

[Update 2]
In Fedora 12 (gold), the 64-bit works most of the time now (at least for me).
