Running Fedora Core Linux 1 (Yarrow, 2003) on a Virtual Machine

With Fedora 15 just a few months away from being released. I decided to at least install the very first Fedora Linux (known as Fedora Core Linux back then).

Previous Posts:
Red Hat Linux 4.2 (Biltmore, 1997)
Red Hat Linux 5.0 (Hurricane, 1997)
Red Hat Linux 6.1 (Cartman, 1999)
Red Hat Linux 7.2 (Enigma, 2001)
Red Hat Linux 9 (Shrike, 2003)

Red Hat Linux 9 was release on March 2003, and Fedora Core Linux in November 2003. The two system visually are quite similar.

Fedora Core Linux 1 requires 3 CDs (just like Red Hat Linux 9)

Another great looking GDM theme, simple, yet elegant.

Gnome 2.4... 7 years later, we are still waiting on 3.0.

First Boot Screen on Red Hat sponsored distro.

Mozilla 1.4.1.

These posts are pretty cool. Here are my screenshots from Red Hat Linux 7.1 taken when I was using it back then..
